The ice bucket challenge has done a great job of raising awareness about ALS. So when I was nominated for the challenge, I figured one more video of someone dumping ice water on her head might not accomplish much. Instead, I started researching more about the suspected causes of ALS at places like the National Institute of Health and Mayo Clinic.
What I found was similar to when I was researching causes of Auto-immune disorders – our bodies are simply being exposed to too many toxic chemicals in our every day lives, and it can cause things to go haywire inside.
